Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Port Hope Guardian Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our pharmacists, including scheduling and workflow management.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to our patients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Claims Processing: Process claims for third-party insurers, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement for our patients.
  • Supply Chain Management: Maintain a well-organized and efficient supply chain, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Pharmacy or drugstore.
