Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Supply Assistant to join our team at Community Care Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Supply Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy by maintaining accurate prescription records, assisting pharmacists, and ordering supplies and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Prescription Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of prescription information to ensure timely and accurate dispensing of medications.
- Pharmacist Support: Provide administrative support to pharmacists, including maintaining patient records and processing prescriptions.
- Supply Management: Order and maintain an adequate supply of medications, equipment, and other pharmacy-related materials.
- Clerical Duties: Perform general clerical tasks, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Work Term: This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 32-35 hours per week.
- Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a pharmacy or related field.
