Key Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled care for all activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, in accordance with corporate policy and established standards.
  • Assist registered staff in nursing diagnostic and therapeutic measures, ensuring a holistic approach to resident care.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation, adhering to corporate policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Proficient verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to speak a second language is considered an asset
  • Successful completion of a Ministry of Education approved PSW Training Program or equivalent
  • Current CPR (BCLS) and First Aid Certificate
  • Meet health surveillance requirements of the Public Hospitals Act
  • VSS within the past year of hire confirming absence of a criminal history/record
