Job Summary:

The Sales Operations Specialist will support the Airlines & Fleets Sales, Marketing and Customers team, as well as supporting functions. This role is responsible for supporting the Salesforce CRM database for the A&F division, including system development, deployment and support. This includes task & project management, report generation, user training, strategic recommendations, new capability implementation, data clean-up, routine tasks, and executive administration support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall strategy and execution for the A&F division's utilization of Salesforce, including coordinating with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration across the organization.
  • Plan for and maintain the currency of the database, coordinating with the company's specialist IT division and third-party vendors as required.
  • Coordinate with other divisions and corporate leadership to ensure StandardAero secures the best value for money relating to its investment in the Salesforce platform.
  • Maintain data accuracy and scrub the data as required, policing prescribed menu item lists to ensure ease of use.
  • Support user requests for data, such as targeted marketing campaigns and strategic planning purposes.
  • Develop specific user dashboards as required, working with the St. John's IT team.
  • Provide regular reports to enable leadership and facilities management to accurately track captured sales and customer demand versus induction capacity.
  • Plan for and facilitate user training as required.
  • Create process documentation to facilitate process adoption.
  • Support marketing campaigns, events, and social media marketing by working with Sales & Marketing teams.
  • Support sales forecasting by recognizing past trends to predict future sales.
  • Support sales agreements generation, execution, and tracking (contracts).
  • Support the Inside Sales & Bid Development teams with key pursuits & scheduling.
  • Link with multiple internal support departments as necessary (IT, Finance, Compliance, Legal, & Marketing).
  • Assist with annual expense budgeting processes.
  • Support and drive key projects / initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Completion of related 4-year post-secondary education (Bachelor's degree) or 5 years of directly relevant experience (Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, IT, etc.).
  • Completion of a relevant masters degree (Masters in Business Analytics) is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with sales/marketing computer information systems (programming language), including Salesforce or a similar CRM tool. Salesforce Admin training completion is preferred, but not required.
  • Aptitude for Dashboard creation, key performance indicators, and visual representations of metrics.
  • Intermediate or advanced power user of MS Office Suite, focusing on MS Excel.
  • Possesses strong aptitudes in the areas of attention to detail, analytical thinking, business acumen, and project management.
  • Experience working with a team of professionals, including remote / international.
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills.
  • Industry-related experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of gas turbine engines is an asset.
