Job Summary:
OCAD University is seeking a qualified Academic Instructor to teach a course on Art and Feminism in the Faculty of Arts. The successful candidate will have a terminal degree in art, design, or a relevant discipline and/or equivalent professional/practical experience.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, critiques, and grading
* Prepare and deliver studio sessions, including health and safety protocols
* Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
Qualifications:
* Terminal degree in art, design, or a relevant discipline
* Equivalent professional/practical experience
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Demonstrated leadership and experience promoting a respectful and inclusive work and learning environment
Terms of Employment:
Sessional appointments are fixed-term annual contracts. Sessional compensation includes a per-course pay scale with salary level of $6,871.00 (per 0.5 credit course) plus 7% in lieu of benefits and vacation pay, per the provisions of the Employment Standards Act.
