Academic Programs Manager

The OpportunityThe Manager of Academic Programs is responsible for driving excellence in academic programs, student support services, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a collaborative and innovative approach, working closely with faculty, staff, and students to ensure the successful delivery of undergraduate programs. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing operational leadership and strategic direction to the undergraduate office of the Faculty of Nursing
- Managing administrative, recruitment, admissions, and academic functions of undergraduate programs
- Developing and maintaining robust support systems for students, including credit transfer, faculty scholarships, and academic guidance
- Cultivating partnerships and collaborations across campus to ensure effective communication and coordination
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in university administration, with a proven track record of success in developing and managing academic programs
- A master's degree in business administration or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of experience and training
- Superior leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts effectively
Memorial University offers a competitive salary range of $72,832 - $94,409 per annum, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
