Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Case Aide Worker to join our team at Kunuwanimano Child and Family Services. As a Case Aide Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to First Nations children and families, ensuring they receive fair, equitable, and respectful services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide transportation for children to attend appointments, visits, meetings, and court proceedings.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date client records, documents, case recordings, and case notes.
  • Participate in internal committees and work teams as required.
  • Support the investigation of allegations of child abuse and/or maltreatment, including conducting thorough records checks.
  • Work independently and as a team member, assuming duties as required or directed.

Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma in a related field, such as social service work, child and youth work, or office administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external contacts.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to speak an Indigenous language is considered a major asset.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's license, reliable vehicle, and $2 million rider liability insurance.
  • Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening and Driver's Abstract.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings and Saturdays.
