About the Role

Kunuwanimano Child & Family Services is seeking a skilled Contract Case Aide Worker to join our team. As a Contract Case Aide Worker, you will provide fair, equitable, and respectful service to First Nations children and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrange transportation for children to attend appointments, visits, meetings, and court.
  • Ensure client records, documents, and case notes are up to date.
  • Participate in internal committees and work teams as required.
  • Provide support to the service team during investigations of child abuse and/or maltreatment.
  • Work independently and as a team member, assuming duties as required.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary diploma in a related field, such as social service work or child and youth work.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external contacts.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to speak an Indigenous language is an asset.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's license, reliable vehicle, and $2 million rider liability insurance.
  • Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening and Driver's Abstract.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays.
