Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2669058 Ontario Inc.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and supervising a team of kitchen and food service helpers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet business needs
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and food presentation
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure team success
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Establish and maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service establishment, preferably in a supervisory role
  • College, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with physical demands
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a strong commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced food service establishment, with a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
