Senior Enablement Specialist

At OpenText, we're committed to innovation and collaboration. As a Senior Enablement Specialist, you'll partner with our global Renewals teams to drive retention and growth of off-cloud and cloud contracts.
Your Impact
Our Renewals Enablement program is modernizing and streamlining to ensure our teams possess the skills, knowledge, and expertise to onboard effectively and perform at peak levels. You'll develop and execute a learner-centered approach, providing a best-in-class learning experience for our global Renewals organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a renewals enablement strategy for onboarding and ongoing development using relevant, impactful, and on-the-job learning experiences.
- Participate in program curriculum design, development, and delivery of the training program to improve global renewals organization skills and abilities.
- Facilitate, deliver, and track sales training programs that support Renewals enablement initiatives using various modalities and tools.
- Support the continuous improvement and engagement of our training resources to ensure knowledge gaps are closed and desired business results are realized.
- Collaborate with the broader renewals organization and learning community to develop, update, and revise training resources using innovative techniques to achieve strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in instructional design, development, or adult learning.
- 2-5 years of experience in Enablement, software industry, sales, or renewal contract background preferred.
- Experience using eLearning tools such as Articulate and Camtasia required.
- Excellent written, oral, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience in training design and development across multiple modalities, i.e., eLearning, instructor-led, blended, job aids, and more, and can manage simultaneous projects to established deadlines.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented bringing a continuous improvement mindset to everyday tasks.
- Demonstrates professionalism, diplomacy, and versatility.
- Self-starter that can work autonomously, yet understands the value and power of a team and can work collaboratively and creatively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of learning principles, industry design standards, and modern learning best practices for the continual development of learners. Certifications in adult learning and/or instructional design - is a plus.
- Technical aptitude to quickly learn new skills and development tools.
- Highly proficient in the MS Office Suite.
