About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Community Living Haldimand. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing policies and procedures, planning and developing recruitment strategies, and managing training and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent, including job postings, social media advertising, and employee referrals.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, and manage the development of new employees.
  • Employee Relations: Respond to employee questions and concerns, and provide support and guidance to resolve conflicts and issues.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily HR operations, including payroll, benefits, and time-off management.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
