Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and engaging Childcare Engagement Coordinator to join our team at Life Time. As a Childcare Engagement Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of engagement and fun for children between three months and 11 years old within our Academy and classes.
About the Role
- The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- You will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging activities, including storytelling, arts and crafts, singing, and games, that cater to the diverse needs of our young patrons.
- A key aspect of this role is maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children, ensuring they have a positive experience while interacting with our toys, sports equipment, and surroundings.
- Prior experience working with children and a high school diploma or equivalent are essential requirements for this position.
- Additionally, you must complete all required Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications before your first day of work and obtain First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification within the first 60 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Greet and engage children, as well as their parents or caregivers, in a warm and welcoming manner.
- Develop and implement educational and recreational activities tailored to meet the diverse needs and interests of our young participants.
- Conduct regular safety checks to ensure a secure environment for children, staff, and visitors.
- Provide feedback and coaching to colleagues as needed to maintain exceptional service standards.
- Cultivate strong relationships with our community members by promoting our programs and services.
Compensation and Benefits
This rewarding opportunity offers an estimated annual salary range of $45,000 - $55,000, depending on qualifications and location.
