About the Role:
DGA Careers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Senior Claims Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing our technical large loss team and driving continuous improvement in customer and employee experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the quantification team, including large loss appraisers, review desk evaluators, vendor managers, pricing specialists, and a technical restoration expert.
- Develop, refine, and monitor claims standards, best practices, risk controls, and training content.
- Manage functional IT projects related to claims.
- Create and implement strategies to enhance technical capabilities, ensure governance and control on pricing, and optimize workflows to achieve financial targets.
- Align the quantification team with other business units and the broader Property & Specialty Department.
- Utilize your deep understanding of the end-to-end claims process to manage vendor performance, oversee quantification for large and attritional property claims, and address complex issues.
Requirements:
- Strong background in technical construction and estimating for large loss quantification.
- Proven experience in leadership roles within the insurance industry, including performance management and career development.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with an analytical and creative approach to problem-solving.
