Key Responsibilities- Estimation and Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labor and material costs for projects, taking into account building codes and regulations.
- Site Management: Schedule and coordinate work on sites, ensuring timely completion of projects and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Woodworking and Construction: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Installation and Finishing: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory of materials and tools, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and regulations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Personal Qualities: Reliability, team player, flexibility, and organizational skills.
