About the Job

Vici Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements, demonstrating attention to detail and analytical skills.
  3. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools to ensure precision and quality.
  4. Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials, showcasing expertise in carpentry techniques.
  5. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
  6. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other software applications is an asset.
Work Environment

The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, handling repetitive tasks with ease and maintaining attention to detail.

Requirements
  1. Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  2. 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the trade.
