Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Amaya Natural Foods. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, prepare statements of earnings for employees, and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements.
- Financial Data Management: Store, update, and retrieve financial data, perform data entry, and maintain payroll records.
- Benefits Administration: Complete and submit documentation for administration of benefits, such as pension plans, leaves, and employment insurance.
- Communication: Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans, and maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in payroll administration or a related field.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in QuickBooks, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Windows.
Our office is located in a general office setting, with public transportation available. The successful candidate will be required to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
What We Offer- Permanent Full-Time Position: 40 hours per week.
