About the Role

The Market Research Analyst at CB Canada is a key position that supports the Marketing and Technology teams to deliver market, client, and consumer intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analysis for various departments within the organization, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Regularly analyze the competitive landscape to identify opportunities to enhance product and market positioning.
  • Present complex data in a user-friendly format, utilizing visual aids such as graphs and charts.
  • Stay up-to-date on business and economic developments relevant to the financial services industry, remaining informed on market trends and best practices.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, advising on and implementing surveys that support the organization's business objectives.
  • Oversee the survey process, ensuring timely and accurate data collection, coding, and tabulation.
  • Monitor and report on research project progress, ensuring budget, timeline, and deliverables are met.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in a research environment, with market research certifications a value-add.
  • Strong understanding of research techniques, information sources, and statistical analysis/analytic techniques.
  • Comfortable working with survey software, including Qualtrics and Survey Monkey.
  • Strong quantitative research, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with research database tools, such as Statista and Gartner.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to support strategy and decision-making.
  • Passion for understanding customers and interpreting their needs.
  • Interest in financial services and technology industries an asset.
