About this Role

The Market Research Associate is a key member of the Corporate Affairs Research team at Fidelity Canada. They will deliver insightful market and competitive research to support business development, thought leadership, and strategic business planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Market Research Analysts with Fidelity Canada's primary research program, including questionnaire design, sampling, data collection, and analysis.
  • Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data, preparing research reports and dashboards for key internal partners.
  • Work closely with Market Research Analysts to support Fidelity Canada's businesses with demand analysis and competitive positioning.
  • Engage with industry-leading market research partners to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate day-to-day Research team activities to ensure deliverables are met, risks are identified, and issues are managed.
  • Lead research and thought leadership project planning activities, providing regular updates to the Director on key projects' progress.
  • Partners with vendors and stakeholders across Fidelity to ensure project timelines and deliverables are achieved.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years' relevant experience, preferably in the financial services/asset management/market research industries.
  • University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
  • Completion of the CSC designation is preferred.
  • Enrollment or completion of the MRIA designation is considered an asset.
