About the Role

Targeted Talent is seeking a highly experienced Senior Healthcare Planner to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the medical planning process and creating department floor plan concepts reflective of operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Process Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in clinical processes across major inpatient and outpatient departments.
  • Environmental Understanding: Understand the differences in institutional, ambulatory, and business occupancy environments.
  • Process Flow Development: Work with end users to outline process flows and critical adjacencies of clinical rooms.
  • Medical Equipment Guidance: Understand and guide discussions on medical equipment needs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the medical planning process within the design team.
  • Project Management: Manage the deliverables for the medical planning team within the greater project deliverable schedule.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for the client on planning issues.
  • Mentorship: Mentor staff for depth and support of the specialized knowledge execution process.
Qualifications and Education
  • Education: Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's in architecture.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of healthcare planning experience required with proven experience in clinical planning leadership and knowledge of architectural design and code requirements.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Revit is required.
  • Soft Skills: Strong presentation, communication, organizational, team building, collaboration and communication skills are a must.
  • Software Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Education: Master of Architecture from an accredited program preferred.
  • Professional Registration: Registered Architect.
