Lead Investment Structure Management

Make a meaningful impact at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, a global and dynamic investment organization.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Structure Management professional to join our team. As a key member of our Investment Structure Management team, you will be responsible for the operational deal structuring and end-to-end management of the investment life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the pre-close/structuring and ongoing maintenance of new investments, exits, and restructurings
  • Provide investment structuring support and assist in setting up and managing CPP Investments group companies used for making investments
  • Collaborate with investment teams, non-investment teams, and external advisors to drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation around how CPP Investments manages its investment structures
  • Partner with other internal CPP Investments partners to work on cross-functional workstreams and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of related work experience in finance, consulting, private equity, accounting, or project management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and consistently high levels of accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and determine course of action in situations with little or no precedent
  • A continuous learning mindset with a desire to learn about CPP Investments business and recommend innovative solutions to business problems
  • Willingness to actively contribute to a positive, highly effective, and collaborative team culture
