The Account Executive is a critical role at Clutch Solutions, responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with customers to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive profitable growth for target accounts
  • Develop comprehensive customer technology roadmaps to uncover new sales opportunities
  • Pursue partnerships with Vendor Field Sales Representatives to optimize joint selling efforts within the territory
  • Foster market awareness of Clutch Solutions through participation in industry events, organizations, and affiliations
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and sales skills through ongoing training opportunities provided by Clutch Solutions and external sources

Account Executives will be expected to:

  • Built strong customer loyalty
  • Penetrate new markets
  • Develop key account contacts
  • Sell total solutions
  • Establish robust business relationships with decision-makers and influencers at all levels within each account
  • Understand each customer's unique business model, map their organization, and identify technology needs
  • Collaborate with local vendor field representatives on sales efforts and partnerships, including identifying new account opportunities
  • Utilize quarterly forecasting and pipeline management to drive sales growth
  • Effectively manage geographic territories using professional territory management skills
  • Collaborate on sales strategies, discuss account trends, advise on changes within accounts, and coordinate quotes and sales opportunities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in field-facing sales roles
  • Experience with cold calling in a sales 'hunter' capacity
  • Prior experience selling technology hardware or software products
  • Prior experience selling complex technical solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years of experience in field-facing sales roles
  • 5 years of experience in technology sales
  • 2 years of experience selling complex technical solutions
  • Prior experience selling advanced technology solutions from leading vendors like Cisco, Microsoft, HP, Nutanix, and Dell

OPTIONAL PREFERENCES FOR INDUSTRY SPECIFIC POSITIONS:

  • Experience selling within commercial or public sector budget and procurement cycles, as applicable
  • Experience selling to K-12, Higher Ed, Healthcare, State and Local government, or Federal government customers, if relevant
