Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Operations Manager will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of production and operating workers, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and meeting production goals. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate employees, improve production methods, and maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Oversight: Review production operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems, promoting efficiency and productivity.
  • Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control systems, analyzing production data to detect problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Talent Management: Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, ensuring a high-performing team that meets production demands.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and maintain accurate production reports and personnel records, facilitating informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least one year of direct supervisory experience.
  • Skills:
    • Verbal Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively interact with employees and stakeholders.
    • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address operational challenges.
    • Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and maintenance procedures.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Schedule: Willingness to work weekends and rotating shifts as required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perform tasks requiring physical effort and stamina.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
