We are seeking a skilled Welding Assistant to join our team at Singh Metal Fabrication Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting our metal workers and machine operators in various tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
  • Load and unload vehicles.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • This role is physically demanding and requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Work under pressure and overtime may be required.

Requirements:

  • Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles are required.
  • Dependability, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude are essential.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent position with 35 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
