  • Prepare corporate and personal income tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Compile feedback on staff performance and conduct regular performance reviews, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Communicate directly with clients, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • CPA designation
  • Multiple years of accounting experience, preferably in public practice accounting
  • A solid foundation of accounting and assurance education, with experience executing Audit, Notice to Reader, and Review engagements
  • Experience preparing tax returns, including corporate, personal, trust, T4s, and T5s
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining trusted advisor relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop others to build high-performing teams
  • Experience supervising staff on multiple engagements
  • Proficiency in Caseware, Profile, Sage 300 (ACCPAC), Sage 50 (Simply Accounting), and QuickBooks
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly MS Excel
  • Project management skills
  • Business development skills are an asset
