About the Role

Gillfor Distribution is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team in London, Ontario. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving results for our distribution center by creating and maintaining business relationships with key customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify decision makers within targeted leads to initiate the sales process.
  • Collaborate with the Division Manager to determine strategic sales approaches.
  • Support marketing efforts, including trade shows and events.
  • Make outbound calls to existing customers to cross-sell and up-sell.
  • Handle inbound prospect calls and convert them into sales.
  • Oversee pricing, purchases, logistics, and account payables and receivables.
  • Attend sales training and address client inquiries.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience; proven sales leader.
  • Familiarity with the building supply industry is a strong asset.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Highly self-motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent selling, communicating, problem-solving, and negotiating skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
  • Ability to adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
What We Offer
