We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Assistant to join our team at Browns Automotive. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vehicle maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities- Tool Management: Assist in the organization and maintenance of tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Site Safety: Participate in maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Support to Tradespersons: Provide assistance to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed to ensure efficient workflow.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including machines and immediate surroundings.
- Physical Demands: Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring manual dexterity, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and handling heavy loads.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Team Player: Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with a permanent employment opportunity.
