Automotive Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Mechanic Helper at Browns Automotive. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our mechanics with various tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop.
Key Responsibilities- Assist mechanics with tool handling, equipment movement, and material transportation.
- Participate in surveying activities, holding stakes as required.
- Signal safety procedures to colleagues and the public.
- Provide support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
- Clean machines and work areas to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
This role requires working in a dusty environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be handling heavy loads and working under pressure to meet deadlines.
Requirements- Physically demanding role, requiring manual dexterity and the ability to handle heavy loads.
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety procedures.
- Steel-toed safety boots are required for this role.
- A permanent position with 40 hours of work per week.
