Automotive Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Mechanic Helper at Browns Automotive. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our mechanics with various tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop.
Key Responsibilities- Assist mechanics with tool handling, equipment movement, and material transportation.
- Provide support during surveying activities, ensuring safety procedures are followed.
- Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
- Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
- Clean machines and work areas to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
As a Mechanic Helper, you will work in a fast-paced workshop environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will be required to work in dusty conditions and handle heavy loads.
Requirements- Physically demanding role requiring manual dexterity and ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Ability to handle heavy loads and work under pressure.
- Steel-toed safety boots are required.
- Team player with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
