Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at Nova Scotia Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the construction process, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer and Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces. You must be able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
