Job Title: Construction Labourer and Helper

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at 4548881 Nova Scotia Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in various tasks related to construction projects.

Work Environment:

Our construction site is located outdoors, and you will be working at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments. You will also be exposed to cold and hot temperatures.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Perform pre-operational inspections
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physically demanding work, requiring manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work at heights
