Construction Labourer and Helper
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at Nova Scotia Limited. The successful candidate will assist in various construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, performing pre-operational inspections, and assisting in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Load, unload, and transport construction materials
- Perform pre-operational inspections
- Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
- Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads and working at heights. The work site environment is outdoors, noisy, dusty, cold, and hot.
Requirements:- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to handle heavy loads and work at heights
