Job Title: Executive Chef

OB&O Afro-Caribbean Restaurant is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our Afro-Caribbean cuisine
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff supervision
  • Ensure exceptional food quality and presentation, meeting our high standards
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to achieve their full potential
  • Collaborate with our management team to achieve business objectives
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role
  • Proven track record of menu development and implementation
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of Afro-Caribbean cuisine and culture
