Key Responsibilities:- Prepare financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
- Post journal entries.
- Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
- Prepare tax returns.
- Prepare trial balance of books.
- Reconcile accounts.
- Educational background in accounting or a related field is an asset.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- $45,000 - $60,000 per year (depending on experience).
