Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant and Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week in English.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Post journal entries.
  • Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • Prepare tax returns.
  • Prepare trial balance of books.
  • Reconcile accounts.
Requirements:
  • Educational background in accounting or a related field is an asset.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • $45,000 - $60,000 per year (depending on experience).
