Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our therapy department, you will play a vital role in helping children overcome physical, emotional, and developmental challenges.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address cognitive, motor, and sensory skills.
  • Provide direct therapy services to children with complex medical conditions, using evidence-based practices and innovative techniques.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and facilitate communication among healthcare providers.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices and emerging trends in pediatric occupational therapy.

Requirements
  • Baccalaureate in Occupational Therapy and licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.
  • At least 2 years of recent experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in acute care settings.
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessment and intervention strategies for children with diverse needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and interprofessional teams.

Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Please note that this figure includes base salary, plus additional benefits and compensation components.
