About the Job

This role involves working closely with the systems engineering, software development, and production teams to design, develop, and maintain advanced Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR) simulation training systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setup and configuration of systems using vendor-provided documentation.
  • Documentation and execution of systems setup procedures and configuration.
  • Evaluation and recommendation of hardware and software systems based on requirements.
  • Troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and solution development.
  • Collaboration with technology vendors to provide system-level support and resolve issues.
  • Participation in architecture design, development, and documentation.
  • Performance of feature, regression, and integration tests across all aspects of simulation products.
  • Providing remote and on-site customer support for existing products deployed in the field.
  • Required travel to customer sites for hands-on technical support.
  • Conducting customer and field support training.
  • Conducting product demos.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with technical concepts of software systems such as operating systems, networking, and related performance metrics.
  • Thorough knowledge of Windows OS and experience using GUI-based Windows applications.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Extreme attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
  • Comfortable traveling to remote sites in both a product support and customer-facing training role.
