Job Summary: We're seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Operations Lead to join our team at Tastyeats Foods Ltd. The successful candidate will oversee the supervision of staff, including apprentices, stages hands, and design team members. Key responsibilities include assigning sales workers to duties, hiring and training staff, teaching interest or professional development courses, and exhibiting designers planning and developing permanent and temporary exhibits. Additional duties include authorizing merchandise returns, establishing work schedules, and resolving customer requests and supply shortages. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise staff and coordinate activities
  • Assign sales workers to duties
  • Hire and train staff
  • Teach interest or professional development courses
  • Exhibit designers plan and develop permanent and temporary exhibits
  • Authorize merchandise returns
  • Establish work schedules
  • Resolve customer requests and supply shortages
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Assist with immediate settlement needs
  • Support social and labour market integration
  • Support foreign credential recognition
  • Offer mentorship programs
Support for Youths:
  • Participate in youth employment programs
  • Offer on-the-job training
Support for Veterans:
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities
  • Provide awareness training
  • Recruit Veterans and military candidates
  • Assist with transition needs
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Participate in Indigenous support programs
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities
  • Develop relationships with Indigenous communities
Support for Mature Workers:
  • Apply hiring policies to discourage age discrimination
  • Provide awareness training
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities
  • Offer phased retirement options
