About the Role:

As a Commercial Banking Director at National Bank, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with clients. Your expertise will help you identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, expand your client base, and establish effective business development strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and implement business development strategies, and expand your client base.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their business needs, and provide tailored financial solutions.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements, assess creditworthiness, and make informed decisions on loan approvals.
  • Networking and Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including other departments within the Bank and external partners.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as banking solutions and advisory approaches.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: At least 5-9 years of experience in sales and business development within the financial industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional Network: A network of professional contacts among local medium-sized enterprises and large companies is an asset.
