Gas Station Team Lead

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Gas Station Supervisor to join our team at Pepper Creek G-mart. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our gas station, ensuring a positive customer experience, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to meet the needs of our customers
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling procedures
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand
- Establish work schedules and ensure adequate coverage during peak periods
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory, including fuel and other products
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or supervisory role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
Our gas station is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on customer satisfaction. As a Gas Station Supervisor, you will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and may be required to work in a standing position for extended periods.
