Job Title: Gas Station Supervisor
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Gas Station Supervisor to join our team at Pepper Creek G-mart. As a Gas Station Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our gas station, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
- Authorize payments by cheque and order merchandise as needed.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that all stock is up to date and accurate.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Work under pressure and attention to detail is essential.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking and standing for extended periods.
Personal Suitability:
- Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills are essential.
- Excellent oral communication and flexibility are required.
- Organized and reliable with a strong work ethic.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
- Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees.
- Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
- Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
Work Term: Permanent
Work Language: English
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
