Job Title: Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Operation Come Home. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and facilities are clean and well-maintained.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance the dining experience.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
