Insurance Agent Representative

Are you a customer-focused individual who enjoys working with the public? Do you have a passion for sales and marketing? We are seeking a highly motivated and outgoing Insurance Agent Representative to join our team at Brenda Bryson - Desjardins Insurance Agent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop leads and schedule appointments to identify customer needs and market appropriate products and services.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals, utilizing excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with customers.
Requirements:
  • Property & Casualty license (preferred or must be able to obtain)
  • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening
  • Proactive in problem-solving and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to make presentations to potential customers
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

This position is with an independent contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network, not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. The agent's employees are not employees of Desjardins. Independent contractor agents are responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees.
