Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Farm Laborer to join our team at Naso Farms Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops, as well as performing various tasks related to farm operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planting and Cultivating Crops: Plant seeds, fertilize, and water crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
  • Harvesting Crops: Use manual and mechanical equipment to harvest crops, including combine harvesters and lift trucks.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on farm equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Work Site Environment: Work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with varying weather conditions, including dust, heat, noise, and wet/damp conditions.
  • Work Setting: Work in a rural area with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Demands: Lift heavy loads, bend, crouch, and kneel to perform tasks.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve farm goals.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 55 hours per week.
