Job Title: Enterprise Cloud Architect

BQ International Ltd. is seeking an experienced Enterprise Cloud Architect to lead the transformation of our organization to a cloud-centric organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement a cloud strategy that aligns with the corporation's five-year ambition.
  2. Collaborate with business owners and Lean Portfolio Management to manage the enterprise portfolio, business epics, and technology enablers.
  3. Provide direction to individual client work units on tactical objectives and plans for moving from tactical to strategic architectural objectives.
  4. Work closely with leaders to modernize and optimize lines of business and address market disruptors.
  5. Monitor and adopt technology innovations into the corporation's technical footprint.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  2. 10+ years of experience in information technology covering a wide range of technologies and disciplines.
  3. Five years of experience as an architect and three years as a lead architect.
  4. Experience successfully migrating a corporation from a data centre/on-premise deployment model to the cloud.
  5. Experience with Azure cloud platform is a must, and experience with Google and Amazon cloud platforms is an asset.
  6. Good understanding of architectural principles of cloud-based platforms, including SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy, and multi-tiered infrastructure.
  7. Good understanding of enterprise application integration, including SOA, ESB, and ETL.
  8. Good understanding of process orchestration, BPM, CEP, MDM, BI/BA, etc.
  9. Good understanding of security processes, standards, and issues involved in multi-tier cloud or hybrid applications.
  10. Familiarity with principles of network, application, and information security.
  11. Experience with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, etc.
  12. SAFe Architect Certification is an asset.
