We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team as a support worker for nursing care at Romko Residences LTD.

Job Description

This is a dynamic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. As a support worker, you will be responsible for assisting patients with their daily needs, providing emotional support, and promoting a safe and comfortable environment.

You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure that patients receive high-quality care that meets their unique needs. This includes assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as performing various clinical procedures under the guidance of licensed professionals.

In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized living environment, preparing meals, and transporting patients between facilities. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team will be essential in ensuring seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Perform clinical procedures under the guidance of licensed professionals, such as taking vital signs and administering medications
  • Maintain a clean and organized living environment, including laundry and housekeeping duties
  • Prepare and serve meals to patients
  • Transport patients between facilities, using wheelchairs or stretchers as needed
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma or certificate in a related field, such as personal support work or health care aid
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and promoting a safe and respectful environment
