About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Caregiver to join our team at Romko Residences LTD. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing nursing care and support to our residents.

Job Description

In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks, including taking patients' vital signs, serving meal trays, weighing and positioning patients, delivering messages and reports, making beds, and supervising exercise routines. You will also administer medications, maintain inventory of supplies, bathe, dress, and groom patients, transport patients between care facilities, and answer call signals to determine patients' needs.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This is a physically demanding role that requires working under pressure, performing repetitive tasks, and being able to distinguish between colors. You must also be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions.

We are looking for a candidate who is client-focused, dependable, efficient in interpersonal skills, has excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organization, reliability, and teamwork skills.

Please note that we require candidates to be available for shift or on-call work, available for the advertised start date, legally able to work in Canada, willing to relocate for this position, have previous experience in this field of employment, and possess the required certifications.

Financial Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $45,000-$55,000, based on 30-37 hours per week. This is a permanent position with benefits as per collective agreement.
