Job Title: Office Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrative Assistant to join our team at Essex Respite Care and Support Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Office Procedures: Establish and maintain efficient office procedures and routines to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events with clients and stakeholders.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner.
  • Information Management: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Bookkeeping: Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing and expense tracking.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in an administrative role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
