Job Title: Presales Security Expert Enterprise

We are seeking a highly skilled Presales Security Expert to join our team at Fortinet. As a Presales Security Expert, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales organization in all technical matters related to pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales.

Responsibilities:
  • Pre-sales: Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint, providing expert advice on security solutions and technologies.
  • Sales calls: Be the main technical resource on sales calls, answering or educating customers and partners on security-related issues, features, specifications, and functionality.
  • Conversant with networking applications and solutions, including LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
  • Post-sales: Be the lead technical contact for identified accounts for technical issues, working closely with the technical support team and engineering to answer, elevate, and resolve customer technical issues.
  • Provide assistance to identified customers with post-sales training.
Required Skills:
  • 5-8 years of experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
  • 5-7 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
  • Strong understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP.
  • Knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, intrusion detection, and anti-virus technologies.
  • Experience with encryption and authentication technologies required.
  • Strong presentation skills.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Graduate Degree favorable.

On-target earnings for this full-time position are expected to be between $120,000 - $215,000 annually.
