Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Platform Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Platform Engineer to join our Technology Team. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your expertise in technology infrastructures such as Firewalls, VPNs, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Web Proxies, and conducting Security Audits to ensure the protection of our organization's data, systems, and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures to protect our organization's data, systems, and networks.
  • Understanding of Change Management Process and Tools.
  • Troubleshooting security and network problems.
  • Responding to all system and/or network security breaches.
  • Ensuring that our organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
  • Participating in the change management process.
  • Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities.
  • Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with relevant departments.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or other IT-related field of study.
  • Industry certification such as SSCP, GSEC, and CySA+, Blue Team Level 1, or ISACA CSX required.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a Cyber Security-related role.
  • Working technical knowledge of system vulnerability scanning and remediation.
  • Experience working with and administering Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Single Sign On (SSO), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
  • Experience with Firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Office 365 Security, Palo Alto, and Endpoint Security.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, and/or Power Shell.
