Transformative Opportunity for a Director of Security Engineering

At the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, we are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our security engineering and architecture efforts. As a Director of Security Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's security posture and driving innovation in cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of robust security architectures, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud security strategy, ensuring our cloud environments are resilient, scalable, and secure.
  • Conduct thorough security assessments, providing expert analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with technology, operations, and business teams to integrate security by design principles into all stages of development and operations.
  • Drive the design and implementation of security platforms, automation capabilities, and operational use cases to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of security operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent industry certifications.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in security architecture, engineering, or a related information security role.
  • At least 4 years of leadership experience within a security architecture or engineering team.
