About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Proposal Development Assistant to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario. As a key member of our Canadian Buildings Division, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Proposal Specialists in the development of high-quality submission documents.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the review and analysis of Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements, identifying key submission data and developing proposal outlines and timelines.
  • Participate in the kick-off 'Strategic Visioning' and Proposal Planning session, ensuring that all key proposal stakeholders are represented.
  • Conduct research and gather information to support the development of compelling proposal content, including graphics and visual communication strategies.
  • Assist in the assembly and review of responses for compliance, accuracy, and content, and coordinate review sessions with teammates and stakeholders.
  • Accurately proof, edit, and reword text to ensure high-quality proposal submissions.

Qualifications

  • Working towards a degree or diploma in a communications field.
  • Strong written communication and collaboration skills.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign would be considered an asset.
